I have one somewhere. Know that you use cream of tartare in it and it comes out exactly like normal playdough. Will try and root it out for you! Lissy x

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons cream of tartar, 1 cup of plain flour, 1/2 cup of salt, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 cup of water

Mix to form a smooth paste. Put in a saucepan and cook slowly, until the dough comes away from the side of the pan and forms a ball (I stirred it the whole time but up to you!). Take off the heat. When it is cool enough, take dough out of pan and knead for 3-4 minutes. Don't forget to soak the pan! And you can add food colouring to the water at start of recipe or at the kneading stage.

Let me know how you get on! Lissy x

thanks lissy178. I work in a pre-school and we have lost the recipe. Will have a go when we go back in September. The kids will be pleased as they love playing with it.
mmm tasty play dough.  I couldn't get enough of it when I was little, so yummy and salty!  thought of eating it makes me retch now though...
