It Runs In The Family....

Had a lovely day with the family......

Granddaughter 1 had had an accident....she fell down a flight of steps and split her forehead open......ambulance to the hospital....

The very young and nervous doctor glued the split in her head...then told her the good news and the bad news....

Good news......she was fine....no other injuries....
Bad news.....he had glued his blue glove to her head wound and couldn't get it off....

In the end she held the glove while he slid his hand out......which left her with a blue glove hanging from the wound.
The best they could do was to cut the glove close to the wound and leave it to come away in its own time....

So....the party season....and she has the remains of a blue surgical glove stuck to her forehead.....☺

Psyb....I was there two minutes when I had my first mishap....the boyfriend knows.....☻

I arrived and was given a full glass of (luckily)white wine.....the settee was very low and very squishy.....

I plopped down...much further than anticipated.....legs went up....wine came down.....face to knickers.....soaked....

I got a round of applause and one......OH Mother!!!!

Seek....we did a Secret Santa of sillies......I got the most intricate jig saw you can imagine.....with the comment.....

We thought you could sit quietly in a corner a do this...for the sake of safety....honestly!!!!

I have a jigsaw, Psyb....this is the cardboard pieces...tiny cardboard pieces...thousands of pieces.... will take ages to do.....do you think that's the idea?...☺

I hope they also bought you a jigsaw folder/holder so that you could put it away and come back to it.
It's a pain having a jigsaw permanently on-going on the dining room table.
