Nailit: The reason why I ask is because if you speak to your doctor they might be willing to put you on Domperidone. I have, in the past,
taken Domperidone for a few weeks after being put on Fluoxite because Mirtazipine wasn't working for me. I might of been on it longer, I really can't remember. It helped me with the 'weight gain' problem as well as it speeds up digestion and metabolism. I wasn't actually given it as an anti-emetic but actually as a way to help with my stomach and how quickly it 'processed' food. I was open to the doctor, as I always am, that I was concerned about the fact I'm was eating more and more - sometimes 7 times a day, at times getting up at 2am and eating bowl after bowl of cereal.
I'd advise you to go to your GP and talk to them about your concerns. If you can't see your GP then speak to your mental healthcare worker. They were happy enough to put me on it so I don't see why they won't do the same for you. After all if it's making you feel low, which in itself needs sorting as soon as possible.
