Song From George Gently Episode The Lost Child
Heard a song on the episode called The Lost Child in series 5 of Inspector George Gently and I can't trace it anywhere. It starts 'The leaves are falling and summer's gone. She's walking slowly it won't be long.' Sung by a female singer. Anyone recognise it or was it just written for the show?

This question is on a few forums and on Facebook as follows
//Near the end of season 5, episode 3 ("The Lost Child"), there's a very haunting song with lyrics that begin:
The leaves are falling,
And summer’s gone.
She’s walking slowly.
It won’t be long.
The Greyhound bus pulls out,
Turns down the street.
There’s no one coming now
To see her leave.
Does anyone have any idea about the song title or singers? I've exhausted all my other searches.//
The answer given there says that the song may have been changed when the show was aired in the USA (we have no Greyhound Buses really).
But I think Tony has the answer really.
