I'd have thought that the time to kiss your partner is when you're with them and feeling like it, and the place is (usually) on the mouth.
I dont have a problem with it! :-)
What a pair of exhibitionists.
I dare say they were deliberately trying to wind up a few people. :-)
I admit to not being a fan of PDAs on the whole but it's not like they were writhing on the grass with their hands down tops and up skirts as you can often encounter in parks during the summer.

I believe they may have broken an ancient Hollywood code of conduct though as one of them didn't have both feet firmly planted on the ground.
OK so the last post was slightly tic (someone else's t, perhaps?). People can certainly go overboard with PDAs and regardless of who's involved it can be a little off-putting to see two people all over each other for any length of time. Hopefully it was this, rather than the people involved, that prompted people to complain.
The Mail use 9 pictures of lesbians kissing to illustrate this non story.

Is the story better told with nine pictures, or are they just to titilate Mail readers?
3 pictures? And you'd have to be a strange fish to find those Pembroke lovelies titillating.

8 pictures and only 3 of them kissing in my link??
Different generation AOG, different codes of practice highlighted by a "couple of Lesbian scrubbers " kissing in public.

As posters have said......." non story"...." don't have a problem with it."

At the end of the day, after a few drinks, with my breath held, I might even join in........
Maybe if i drank meths. ;-(
I wonder if it had been a hetero couple if there would have been the same fuss? I doubt they were just walking hand in hand with the occasional kiss. It was described as ' a very strong display of public affection at the festival.' There is no need for it, homosexual or hetero, at a family event.

Has already pointed out only 3 pictures of them kissing, and in fact only 8 pictures in all.

So wrong on both points.

amazing how they in amongst all those people just happened to be standing in a nice clearing all by themselves...

great quality snaps....obviously a set up...
I would think people were giving them a wide berth to be honest.
"but it's not like they were writhing on the grass with their hands down tops and up skirts"

shame, might have made the pics worth looking at
There is still shock value, especially among the older population, and signs of public affection and non hetro signs especially. Whilst I think times have moved no and such sexual preference quirks are no longer the issue they once were to most, it's fair to say that exhibiting for the public gaze is not good manners, and being asked not to do so not such a big deal.
"There is still shock value,"

thats what it was done for, it was staged....cant you people see that !?
Better than a stand up row you often see in large gatherings of people.
Eccles, //but it's not like they were writhing on the grass with their hands down tops and up skirts as you can often encounter in parks during the summer.//

What parks and what times please!!?
