My daughter got full blown measles and was almost delirious, extremely high temp, twitchy, and jumpy and crying and couldn't settle at all. Calpol every 4 hours I gave, but I was concerned about a Febrile convulsion happening, but it didn't, I did report it to the health visitor and doctor the next day, but didn't rush to A&E (cos you feel a bit daft) however I agree with Kick3m0n if it feels like you need to know either way, go. No one will critise you for it. Or ring NHS direct, they are good. I have three kids and I've been sat waiting to go into the doctors appointment with my "very ill must have appointment today" kid, when they suddenly become the life and soul of the waiting room. It's probably one of the only times in your life, when you wish they were a little bit ill, just to back your phone call up.
