ALso, I took it all through my pregnancy with my last baby and she was born 8 weeks early, but has never missed a major milestone in her chronological age, not her corrected age. I have also felt that it has helped with my own dyslexia. I have used it with my other son and his concentration and achievment were improved. I keep meaning to put him back on it, but we eat alot of oily fish now instead, mackaral and sardines.....
It also improves my nails and my hair. makes them nice and shiny. WOrth it frankly, just for that.
erm, I think pretty much straight away. I felt better and I noticed my dyslexia improves withing 2-3 weeks. Weh I stop taking it, I notice my reading and other dyslec=xic symptoms get worse in about the same time frame.
As far as my hair and nails/skin etc go, they pick up within about a week, but skin regeneration is a relatively quick bodily function, so if you are taking somehthing to improve it, you should notice a difference quickly.
It worth a try anyway, it's relatively inexpensive, especially if you incorporate it into your diet. All the oily fish (tinned doesn't really count, although tinned sardines and mackaral are ok) and some of the oily margerines have it in and added to them too. I haven't really gotten on with the flax and seeds and stuff. Im not a creative enough cook for that. :-) let me know how you get on with it.
