Does anyone know the best swimming aid for a 2 year old who has just started going swimming. I need something where she can be left alone without toppling over which is what I have found happens with the swimsuit with floats in them any ideas?

My kids swimming school uses foam rings on their arms, so that the bouyancy can be changed as their skill progresses by removing rings.

However please remember stay within arms reach when in the water, as they are swimming aids not life preservers. ;-)

Like Lily, I used arm discs with my girls'.
I found they were too proud to hang onto me, so I swam alongside them carrying a couple of floats that they could grab if they wanted some extra help.

You can get little inflatable life jacket's, they are great
have you tried a rubber ring, though it might be harger for her to swim in, when i was littel i had a rubber ring and inflatable arm bands, when i was learning to swim i remember my dad reducing the amount of air in the arm bands as i was getting better at swimming.
Please butterfly76 do not leave your 2year old alone in the water even if she is wearing armbands(floaties),she could so easily drown .
swimming noodles are fantastic, they are long so you can just cut them down to the right size for your little one but please don't let her go into the water alone.
