Do you and your loved ones use churches for christenings, marriages and funerals?
Or do you all go without any ceremonials at all?

I don' really have any 'loved ones', other than the guy who I think of as my own son. (Long story!). He got married in a registry office. I'll occasionally attend a church wedding but, as an atheist, I feel uncomfortabl e doing so. I don't use any church for anthing...some of my relatives do but I am not a christian and therefore wouldn't dream of using a church for anything. Married in a registry office, expect to be cremated (preferably without anyone there) but was christened in a catholic church and my dad had to commit to me being brought up in the church as he was not of that persuasion.... I was under 6months old so had no say in the matter. When I was old enough to make a choice I left religion behind me!
Nope.
Got married in a registry office.
Didn’t have any of my children christened.
Have left instructions for a no fuss no frills no religion funeral.
Have attended many church weddings, have four god children (all of whose parents know my lack of belief) and attended many religious funerals. Doesn’t bother me going to other people’s religious ceremonies, some are quite nice.

nailit - // I go along with the charade.. //
I have a different view - I appreciate the complete sincerity of the people who attend Mass, even though I don't share their beliefs.
If I felt - as you do - that it was a 'charade', I would not be a hypocrite and i would never step inside a church ever again.
