I'm afraid so. The additioanl weight, and the shift in your centre of balance means that you are putting additioanl strain on your leg muscles.

You should sit or lie as often as you can, with your legs raised to assist your circulation. The rule 'Never stand when you can sit, never sit when you can lie ....' is appropriate for a lady in your 'condition'.

Yes, I know you have a million things to do, but deveoping babies are no respectors of housework, so rrest as often as you possibly can - lie in in the mornings if possible - it will reduce the strain and pain.

All good wishes for your impending arrival!

i had the same while pregnant try drinking soda water this contains something that can ease or even stop cramps x
yeah i had really bad leg cramps when i was pregnant the midwife told me to eat a packet of ready salted crisps and a glass of soda water before bed , and it actually helped.
Also, you have more blood and a lower blood pressure when pregnant. As the only thing getting blood to circulate back from your feet is the pressure of the blood pumping along after it, it makes sense that your circulation will be more sluggish, plus the extra work your legs are doing! Make sure you sit or lie with your feet up or even legs up against the wall whenever possible (every day) to give your veins a rest.
