Good Morning Early Birds

morning, Monday and the working week for some starts here. I am posting very early today, as i can't get back to sleep, plus i will be going out early this morning to hopefully meet up with Bobbi. I hope you are all well and in fine spirits, and that your day is a good one. Coffee time too which will keep me awake till i have a shower in a little while. Some chores to do before going out, but they won't take long. Have a lovely day.

morning 1ozzy, will see, i have said where to meet at 11.am, hopefully she will make it. I think i will recognise her from her previous avatar photo's. How are you this morning/afternoon

i think she has gone back to natural grey, short spiky hair apparently. with specs, she will be with her SIL, so two to look out for.

a fair way, the bus drops me off at Waterloo, then walk along the river path way to the London Eye, i have allowed an hour to get there, so will leave here bit before ten.

forecast is a high of 13c and partly sunny skies, as long as it doesn't rain, as i don't fancy standing around if it's pouring. what's the weather doing downunder.

High of 28c, lots of sporadic rain.
Last year was fairly damp, this year looks like being wetter.

A nice change from 12 or so years of drought.

My lawn is a deep green colour and needs mowing every 4-5 days.

Beats dust and dirt hands down.

But that's not indicative to all of Oz.
Just my little stomping ground.

you obviously like, need the rain, whereas we have had flash flooding in the past month, not good when the sewers over flow into people's houses.

That wouldn't be nice.
Shame mother nature can't share a tad better.

which is what has been happening, people getting flooded out is one thing but with human waste material too, that's disgusting.

Am feeling better than at the weekend thanks guys. Feels chilly this morning so have just popped heating on for an hour. Fireworks thankfully stopped - some absolute cretin threw a lit one out of a moving car over the weekend and hit a local girl right in the face. Thankfully it missed her eyes but her mouth is a complete mess : (
