morning, Monday and the working week starts for some. I hope that you are all as well as can be and that you have a good day. Any plans for today? i will be out at the hairdressers this morning and then coming home to sort out my packing, a few bits at a time. Not an onerous task as i have a list of things to take so should be relatively easy. Take it easy..

Good morning, Emmie.

I've not yet decided whether this is the end of Sunday or the start of Monday! (I slept for much of yesterday and then got up just after 2am, just to get a bit to eat and to take my daily medications. I was planning to go back to bed but I've not done so yet and I'm now undecided as to whether to or not).

I hope that, after all your previous problems, you've now found a hairdresser that you like - and at a price that you like too!

I've got a few final Christmas things to sort out (like taking some prezzies a few miles down the road to my former neighbour and her young son) but nothing too pressing.

morning Chris

the hairdresser is ok if not a little pricey at 50 quid for a wash, cut, and blowdry, but it's local and i haven't the patience these days to scout around for anywhere else. My Christmas shopping is done and dusted, so now all there is to do is phone the taxi company to confirm the booking for Thursday and relax...

how are your lovely kitties, i read on one thread that one gets stressed but the other two are very laid back....
The Troublesome Trio are all fine, thanks, Emmie but Moonbeam is largely avoiding me at the minute. (He's the stressed out one. He's also the one who has the most problems with fleas, even at this time of the year. After about three weeks of trying to catch him, to put flea treatment on the back of his neck, I finally managed to grab him yesterday. So now he doesn't trust me at all!)

Here's the inside of the Christmas cards that I'm sending out this year:

The pictures of Moonbeam and Tablo are both recent but Chequers wouldn't have his photo taken, so I've had to use an old one of him.
(The front of the card has one of Woodelf's fantastic paintings on it, with his permission, of course. The back of the card explains about it being the work of a blind artist, with a link to Woodelf's website).

what a lovely card Chris, they are so beautiful. my last cat died 20 years ago and i vowed i wouldn't get another, as its a big responsibility. and i could not take it away with me, as brothers have cats of their own and are very territorial.
Most of the cats in my life simply turn up on my doorstep, Emmie. Patches (the world's most beautiful cat) just arrived one day and moved in.

Some time later she had four kittens and then, later still, when she got fed up with living with four other cats, just disappeared. My beloved Biscuit

was killed by a car just over a year ago but I've still got the Troublesome Trio to brighten my life every day, keeping me happy ;-)
Question Author
what happened to the four kitties?
Morning all, happy days ahead, hopefully.

Chris, could you please post another link to Woodelfs website.
Promise I'll save it this time.
I think his artwork is awesome.
Question Author
or are they the ones you have now, minus the one that was killed.
The Troublesome Trio (plus the late Biscuit) ARE the four kitties, Emmie. They've just grown a bit since then ;-)

morning 1ozzy
Question Author
weren't they adorable as kitties, now they are fully grown into beautiful cats.
Good morning/afternoon, 1ozzy!

I'll happily post another link to Woodelf's site. (It took me quite some time to create it for him, so I obviously want it to get lots of views!):

Question Author
you created a wonderful website Chris, well done, they are very good paintings,
Hi Em.
Thanks Chris.
I want to showcase his work to many, just to prove what can be done, regardless of personal issues.
All prepared for your Christmas Em?
This link might interest you, 1ozzy. Woodelf is ranked alongside Claude Monet here ;-)

more or less, my friend took some water from Camden Lock in London which she bought round yesterday, my mums wishes are for her ashes to be scattered there, at Camden Lock, but the logistics of getting all up to London to do so proved too problematic, so i am taking the water with me, so she more or less gets her last wish, so all of us will scatter all the ashes in Bognor sea, off the pier and add the Camden Lock water to it, sorry if this sounds complicated.
Sounds like a plan that could work Em.
Hope everything goes smoothly.

we plan to do it on the 27th, not sure how many will be there, but the tx has gone to everyone, where and what time to meet. We are going for a drink afterwards to send her off so to speak....
