In one of the Supernanny programs Jo Frost used different alarm clocks for each child, don't remember the purpose but I think it had something to do with signalling the o'clock when they were each supposed to start preparing for bed (at different times, due to different ages.) Now, I'm middle aged and don't have any children, but (don't laugh) I really want one of those clocks! The one with the rooster on the dial face! The multi-coloured rooster head was cut out and stood out in relief from the white background - as I recall. I feel there would some point to waking up if I had one of those. I'm in Sweden, so a web shop would probably be the most convenient opportunity for me, but I suppose if you give the name of an ordinary old fashioned shop I could always give them a call and ask if they'll send it. Thanks!
