Good Morning Sunday Birds…
Thought I'd let you all have a lie in lol. Another dark, grey & damp day here - looks like evening already. Very miserable. Need to do some work and deliver a few items this afternoon. And then we are attempting to cook duck for dinner! Cannot remember the last time I ate duck, let alone cooked it. But thought we'd have something different for a change. Anyone else doing a roast today? Or if not then what are you having?
Last night a friend said they were watching the beginning of a 6 part series on ITVX called Playing Nice. Said it was very good, with lots of twists & turns, so I mite look that up later on.
Hope you all have a chilled day, whatever you get up to x

Mind you I was in Sainsburys Fri afternoon and I got a bargain - they had an excess of gammon joints and were reducing them from £9/ £9.50 ish(depending on weight) to £2.14/£2.44 each!! So I got 4 and chucked 3 in the freezer! Bargain!
Good morning Smow and all. Nothing planned...except laundry and hoovering. It's quite grey and miserable here also.
Make sure you save the duck fat Smow...for roasties. I'd make a meal of just them. As it is not sure what I'll be having. I may pull some fish from the freezer...or try making the baked feta my daughter served over Christmas.
Smow...if you have excess gammon later this year...make pate. Great for lunches.
