How to manage my money

I really need some advice on managing my money. I don't know if I don't make enough or if I just don't know what I'm doing because I'm always broke! I own my own home and my spouse and I bring home $2672.00 a month after our car payment has been made. I am always broke a week after payday. I don't shop for clothes, just grocries and gas and daycare.

If you sit and write down all your outgoings a month you will be surprised at the amount you spend. apart from the bills, petrol, insurance, mobile phones, debits for things like tv license, phone rental, council tax, internet etc you have to be honest with yourself about how much you spend in your lunch hour on food and drink. going out for an evening often costs a lot more than you remember. once it's down on paper you can see where you can make cut backs.
