For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.you can try searching the births marriages and deaths archives to see if he has either remarried or died and have you checked the electoral role for the whole of the UK, as he may not be in the area you anticipate? If not you can do so free of charge by using the people finder on B4Usearch. You'll have to search by a county at a time but it shouldn't really take much above an hour.

Good luck :)
There is a place in Newcastle that if you send a sealed letter to him, address it to whoever and add his date of birth if u know it, and they forward it to him if he is still alive, It is where they have all the National insurance Numbers, if he is still alive and living in the UK they will have his current address, i shall try to find the addy for you
