Crawling?

What age did your children start crawling?

I cant really remember with my first but I am pretty sure it was around 7/8 months. My younger one is at the on his kness rocking back and forth stage was only 5 months last week.

My eldest - now 18, he'll not thank me for this! - spent ages pushing himself around on his back and didnt; crawl properly 'till he was around one. Younger siblings are often more advanced as they have a role model! Happy child rearing!!!

My 2 yr old daughter, started to walk 1 week after her 1st Birthday, but didn't actually crawl until she was about 18mths old.

But at the weekend, I met a lady whos 9mth old was running about just as well as my 2 yr old, and apparently she started to crawl, around 6 mths and then went straight to walking.

My son started crawling at 16 weeks, honest to God! The doctor didnt believe me till I took hi out of his pram at the doctors office and showed her. So it really does depend on the child

my (now 2yr old) daughter, never crawled, just rolled everywhere!!! Many a time did i have to free her head from under the sofa or tv stand or anything else she could squeeze under! until one day she just upped and walked.
