could be her adnoids are large my son had his out in febuary along with his tonsils his snoring was terrible but has all stopped now.
When I was 5, I was investigated because of snoring, I was supposed to get my tonsils & adenoids out, but they only took my tonsils out for some reason. I have snored all my life and I hate it, the family accept it but I still find it embarrassing when camping, sharing a room, or even when I went into maternity hospital. If the adenoid removal would have stopped that then I wish they had removed them. I don't know that it would have. I think though (might be hearsay) with adenoids that the operation gets more serious when you're older. I wish you luck in getting the best advice.
get a bit of string, thread a cotton reel onto it and tie it round her waist...this will stop her sleeping on her back and so reduce the snoring.....problemo solved!!!
Obviously when you are tying it you need to make sure that the cotton reel is at the back.....you probably worked that one out! The idea is that it digs in and hurts!!!!
