does anyone know where i can get a pink gingham school summer dress that will fit a 34inch chest. my daughter is only 9 but wears adult size 10 clothes.

Marks and Spencer often have 'younger' styles in bigger sizes. You could try them.

Alternatively, do you know anyone who could make one? Gingham is relatively cheap to buy by the meter from most haberdashers and a simple pattern only takes an evening to make.

good luck with your quest. I know how it is trying to find clothes that fit well, I have the same problem and so do nearly all my children in one extreme or the other!

John Lewis (any of their department stores, e.g Tyrrell and Green, Knight and Lee etc) will order you a pink and white gingham school uniform dress. They are not cheap, but are good quality and usually arrive in a few days.

I have to order all of my dayghters uniform from them as she is so small!! You just can't win with kids

check out www.4schoolshop.co.uk as they do their pink gingham dresses up to age 13 and I know from ordering items from another supplier for our school that this is usally approx 34/36". You can email them at [email protected] to find out the actual size before ordering. The prices seem very reasonable.
