Wasn't sure whether to put this in here or B&S, but figured this section was more appropriate.
Does anyone own a Rio Bug Zapper? Do you find it does the job? I have the chance of getting one cheap and would just like people's opinions of this product. Anything that makes it easier to keep my daughter's head nit free!!
Thanx in advance.

Our Granddaughters have very thick hair, so I don't know manageable it would be, or how well it would get through theirs.
Hi Boo and Smudge! :o)
Thank you very much for your replies, I think I am going to get it then as I am sick to the back teeth of my daughter always catching headlice! I always seem to be constantly nit combing her and it takes forever! Bring back the nit nurse thats what I say!
Damn those little nits!
Dont waste your money on these zappers, i had one and my children hated it. Sometimes it would nip their ear. I agree with the comment about the thickness of the hair.
Then only way I managed to clear up nit in my 3 daughter hair, was the shampoo and condition method.
If you don't know what this is it where you wash your child's hair and then condition it. While the conditioner is still in the hair use a fine toothed comb. The nits cant hold on and come out really easily. Rinse the little ******* down the sink.
Do this 3 time a week even after the nits have gone.
And as a bonus your children will be the best conditioned and shiny hair in the whole school.
