I had two miscarriages not too far apart from each other and when I went to docs I said 'I suppose you are going to tell me to let my body rest?' but he said there is no such thing as resting after a miscarriage, your body does what it always does so there is no reason to stop ttc. I conceived again shortly after ann everything was fine. So I guess its up to you but if you are feeling stressed and anxious about ttc then you should take Ethels advice and take. Try and go on holiday if possible and forget about it for a while and it may just happen.
First of all I want to send you my heartfelt sympathy ~ I have suffered 2 miscarriages in the past, and understand your worries.
The reason some people tell you to wait before conceiving again is to make sure your cycle returns to normal therefore allowing you to know for sure your dates for when you are pregnant again ~ it has nothing to do with health or well being (although of course you should only start trying again once you are emotionally & physically ready)
In answer to your question, yes it is possible for you to conceive since you don't always know when those eggs will pop ;o)
Good luck & have fun trying..try & relax too!
Unfortunately most of the time it is just 'one of those things' which is awful as in a way you would probably prefer a *real* explanation.
The good news is that you already have a child, therefore you know you can conceive (I know this is also no real comfort...)
Take each day at a time & think beautiful thoughts :o)
Mine was differant as it was ectopic. I had part of my tube tied off. I already had one daughter and after two years trying after the ectopic I thought that I must have had her from the side that was disconected! I thought -oh well I'm lucky to have her as some people can't have one.
A few months later and Het presto! My youngest is now 3.
It did make me realise that it wasn't a god given right to have a baby but a gift that I was bleased with.
