Anna Raeburn LBC radio did a fantastic radio phone in prog recentley on this very subject with legal and other advise which I think you might benefit from llistening to. The programmes are on podcast which require a small payment to access but her advice is priceless and it really helps to hear all sides of this issue. :-)
I should imagine with the child being so young, it's very unlikely the court would remove her from her Mother and if you only work part-time you have more time to take care of her.
Also, I don't belive the courts would think it's a good idea to remove a child from his siblings too.
It all goes in your favour, but please seek some proper legal advice and good luck honey x
He's being ridiculous. To say he wants custody just because you are gonna be working part time! silly man. He would soon get a shock,(if hes only ever done 2 hours) of what its really like looking after a child full time. No easy feat, we can all agree. It is very very rare that a man will be given full custody and then there has to be a very very good reason for taking a child away from its mother. All the best but no worries Xx
When me and my daughters father split up. He had no right because we was never married. He never had my little-one for more than 5min and see's her once in a blue moon. At the end of the day You do your best to benifit you and your children.... It seems like he doesnt want you to get on with your life' but to staying home....personally i would'nt tell him! If i was you i would look into it before he does. As you can see their are alot of father rights going on. Do what you can'and good luck!
