you are doing brilliantly, enjoy the time with her before she is in a routine i used to love it- all those extra cuddles , use your instincts with her bedtime while shes so small, only advice i can give for the future is to remember however hard it is that she came to live with you not you with her and ultimately youre in charge good luck and enjoy your precious daughter
She's 11 weeks old and you're wondering if it's too late!!!!!!! Goodness, my youngest son slept right through the night from 6 weeks old, but I don't think it was anything that I did that determined that, it was just that he was ready for it. My eldest son however - what a different story! At 11 weeks old he was going to bed at 11pm, getting up for a bottle in the night then going back to sleep (if I was lucky!). He also had long sleeps during the day. Carry on with what you're doing, making sure that the routine for night time sleep is different than for a daytime sleep and she will eventually get into that routine, but remember that she is an individual and will not be in the same routine (if any!) as other 11 week olds - don't start comparing her to eg friends children. Love her, enjoy her and don't get bogged down too much in details!
My two year old only started sleeping through the night at about 2 1/2 years. His 1 year old brother (last Sun) still usually wakes at least 3 times in the night. No feeding though, just settle him back down again. They were both fed in the night till about 6 1/2 months. I don't think you are too late, more way too early to be expecting anything.
I can't wait till the younger one sleeps through too. Only another year to go!
