why not get her a visitors or phone number book you can get very preety ones now or maybe a rose for her garden to remind her of your children.
Oh yes I like that idea tiebreaker, a rose for the garden, how lovely! You can get some lovely named ones from the garden centre, usually there will be one or two that will have a wedding themed name too.
If you choose to go with the excellent rose idea, one of these should be available in the U.K. They can be engraved as a memento...

My fail safe present for new babies, christenings, weddings etc for people I don't know well is a rainbow maker. You fix it to your window and in the sunshine the solar powered motor turns the crystal and you get little rainbows all round the room. EVERYONE I've given one to has raved about it.

Maybe a little boring, but I've bought photo frames recently for my daughter's teacher and dance teacher, both of whom got married this year.

They both said how nice they were and both said they'd bne using them to display wedding photos. I chose neutral wood or suede style, quite modern but will fit in anywhere.
