Crayon on Walls/Wood Furniture
My darling 3-year-old daughter has taken it upon herself to decorate the walls and a set of nest of tables with wax crayon. Any ideas what I can use to get this off without taking the paint of the wall and the varnish off the tables?

If crayon is on vinyl wallpaper, test patch a squirt of WD40 somewhere inconspicuous for staining, if it's OK, spray onto mark, leave for 10-15 min, then sponge clean with hot soapy water & rinse.
If plain wall, melt the wax with a hairdryer on warm setting & wipe away with paper towel OR, scrub with toothpaste rinse & blot dry.
I remember someone also saying before you can 'lift' the marks by using a warm iron over brown paper.

Ah bless! This question takes me back a couple of years. I couldn't believe it when my husband suggested WD40 for crayon stains, but it did work- sort of!
