I wouldn't think it would harm her but as mentioned she probably likes the sensation of the tingling from the bubbles in her mouth. The only advere thing is it could give her indigestion and bloating perhaps like being a bit colicky. I can't drink carbonated water or fizzy juice yself as I have acid reflux - so with children's digestive symptoms being immature compared to adults I would'nt overindulge it.
Just noticed your question and thought I should add that mineral water (carbonated or not) should not be given until the child is 2-3 years old. This is because the calcium and sodium content may be higher than the toddler's body can process. Hope this helps.
Is it not recommended when going abroad that you use bottled water to make babies feeds? Would that be spring water rather than mineral water?? Sorry to put another q on this post!
You're better off with ready-made formula while abroad, but if that's not available, then whatever water you use should still be sterilised, even if its bottled mineral or spring water.
