Hi. Just been on Prima Baby website and they had a link to a website which will tell you if you're having boy or girl.
I've just had a look but my lips are sealed!

Wow ~ I am not pg, but entered my details from when I was..3 out of 4 were predicted correctly :o)

Well it's predicted a girl for me, but the one on www.babyworld.com, which asks for the same details, predicted a boy, so I wouldn't rely on it totally!

Blimey, I've never had such quick responses!
Pippa this chart claims to have 90% accuracy but you've just proved its only 75%.
Helliebobs I'm just going to have a look at your site and see what it says.

p.s I typed in mine and brother's dates, from my mum, and you'll be pleased to know that we are the correct sex, phew!

Just checked on www.babyworld.com and it said the same thing.
Don't worry, I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
Now, baby names...

Apparently you have to use your wedding ring ~ but I didn't have one at the time! I used another of my rings looped onto a long piece of string.

Dangle it over your bump ~ if it goes round & round it's a girl..if it swings from side to side it's a boy. I actually held it over my hand too, and it went round & round (and I am a girl, naturally ;o)

Of course if I have got that all the wrong way round it is a load of baloney..although I only did all this for fun ~ I have never taken it seriously!

Right, I know what I'll be doing this evening!

I don't know what you mean about doing it for fun, I'm pinning all my hopes and dreams on what is technically named the "ring dangling thing". I believe that the BMC are using this theory as the basis for their next big maternity study ;-)

Pippa, both me and my sister in law did the ring test over my bump and it swung both ways, if you'll excuse the pun!
My mother in law said it could be one of each but thankfully, there's only one little one in there!! :)

Ahhhh..obviously bubba wants to keep it secret from you, helliebobs ;o)

Funnily enough the same thing happened to me a couple of times ~ I did it later on when my bump was to the maximum and the ring settled on swinging one way!

Ok, just to clear things up. It wasn't a link directly from the website, it was mentioned in one of the chatrooms. A prospective mother had mentioned the above site and someone had requested a link.
As Pippa said earlier and Helliebobs just now; its only a bit of fun. There are no spells or magic involved, in fact the website is quite open about how it makes it calculations. If in doubt have a look.

I just tried it and it predicted a girl however i've already had my scan at 23 weeks and i was told it was a boy! (I'm now 29 weeks). I have tried a couple of other sites before and they predicted a boy.

I've tried it with my details of when i was pregnant with my son and it did predict a boy!

Guess i just have to wait and see but i doubt they would have told me at the scan if they were'nt sure.

It says I'm having a boy this time (I'm 16 weeks pregnant) and I think it's right because I'm already sure. I did it for my age at previous pregnancy and it was right for that too.

The "Ring-dangling-thing" as it is so-called is actually related to pendulum dowsing

It's worked for me in the past (on other issues - I've never been pregnant) and is quite impressive really! But a lot of people are sceptical. It's up to you I suppose!
