With the question about the game Perfection got me thinking.
What was your all time favorite toy?
Mine was a robot that walked a little and on his chest had his planet moving accross it, cant remember what it was called. He was from mars or somewhere like that he was red.

The wooden giraffe was one of thoes wooden toys you push the bass of and it collapses, you let go of the base and it stands up again. It worked with elastic I think. I was transfixed by it. And the bit of cardboard, I spent hours upon hours as a kid sitting on a bit of cardboard zooming down hills, like a sledge but kept me out of trouble in any weather.
I had two. A rocking horse that I refused to let my father throw away despite the fact that it apparently had nails and all sorts sticking out of it... I used to rock on it for hours while reading. (Looking back at that sentance I sound slightly insane).
When I got a bit older I used to buy packets of animal families, (little plastic figures basically). I had loads and I would set them up and play with them for hours. There were well over a hundred and all of them had names and character traits assigned to them. They'd take up the whole of the living room floor.

I had a soft Snoopy and an Oscar the Grouch which i loved when I was a baby.
I used to love my brother's stuff more, he always got model kits, mechano and lego sets I used to have to beg or bribe to play with.
Was a bit of a tomboy me despite my parents best efforts putting me into a dancing school (ballet, tap, modern and drama), piano and flute lessons, choirs, orchestras and such.
I had a Sindi and gave her a crew cut like a marine :)

Me and my sister absolutely loved Playmobil (we've still got boxes and boxes of the stuff!). We'd set up a complete house on the bay window ledge and sit on the coffee table playing for hours together (it was the only time we got on then). Then in the morning we would come down and my dad would have moved them all into new postitions~ doing different things, and we thought they had come to life in the night!
I loved Sylvanian Families too! :o)
