i return to work from maternity leave in january.because of the cost of childcare i was thinking of working things so my mum can have my little un 1 day a week.the only thing is her workdays differ from week to week.so i need to ask my childminder to have little un mondays & tuesdays then tues and fridays on alternating months but don't know how flexible childminders are.she was talking about drawing up a contract so i don't know if they like set days.sorry this is all new to me and feel a bit awkward about asking my future childminder because i feel like i've messed her around a bit already so just wanted to get some advice first.

If you tell her before hand she should be okay with it its not like your changing arrangments on a daily basis. If not private nurserys are very good and you can get help like you can for a child minder from Tax Credits. xx
