What if the UK Christian empire strikes back?

What if villages, towns, cities around the UK re-asserted their Christianity, made and sent Christian-based Christmas cards, put up Christian-themed Christmas decorations, etc, held major Christian celebrations (like Muslims do, unhindered, in many places in the UK at certain times of the year) - can anything be done to stop such a movement legally? If not, who's for returning Britain's festive season to how it was and, I would argue, how it should be? And wouldn't it be good to see caucasian Brits reporting the news on TV again?

Theland, you take a look at the people reading and reporting the news on the main UK terrestrial channels and then tell me they're not chosen because of their ethnicity. Strikes me that if you're white and have aspirations to be a telly journalist you may as well forget it.

Well I do suspect that ethnicity comes into the selection process, as the TV companies like to project an image of inclusivenenss. The same can be said for political parties promoting more women mp's. Maybe there is a good case for positive discrimination. Yes?

And just reading your question I thought 'Here's a man who has studied the differences between religions in depth, who understands about the wide and varied cultures within society today and who has studied history so well as to know that effectively this country has no such thing as a true blue brit, or indeed 'caucasion brit' as you so cleverly put it.'

Well I just pulled a grimace as I read the last line of your question. I dont care who reports the news at all. Does a white British person really do a better person??

As for your whole returning xmas to being a christian based celebration, thats all very well and good and would be lovely to think that people cared about the christmas story and being kind to each other than all the 2 month corporate show we get instead. When people stop caring more about their plasma telly more than they do the homeless etc...then maybe their is a chance xmas will be restored.
