What ever it is, it seems significant especially due to the fact that whoever has this dream notes that no blood or gore is involved when the teeth fall out - they just seem to crumble out.
I personally think that it happens if your mouth is open during sleep and your teeth get cold and start to hurt - it comes off as falling out in a dream
I was once told that dreams about losing teeth were related to deaths of family members.
Personally, I'm with Beenee - I think your physical situation can affect your dreams. If you happen to be grinding your teeth in your sleep (as I do) I think this often translates into dreamspiel. (For instance - have you ever dreamed for ages about going to the toilet, and woken up bursting ?)
I'm not sleeping too bad lately, thank you Trillipse - I listen to my story tapes every night & soon nod off - it's the waking up in the early hours that I'm not too keen on!
My dentist has also made me a little gumshield to stop me grinding my teeth in my sleep. It's pretty good - when I remember to wear it!
I hope you are well.
Hope you are well.
Smudge, sorry to intrude on you thread about unrelated stuff, but - WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???
I've been thinking about you a lot over the last couple of days, wondering if you are OK! Someone called out in Chatterbank for you today too.
I hope all is well, if I don't talk to you, have a fantastic Christmas (and a relaxing one) and I hope 2006 brings you much happiness :)
xx
Ah bless you Dakota - really nice of you to think of me.
Well, the reason I haven't been on Answerbank, is mainly because our eldest daughter has just started her 2nd course of 14 iron transfusions twice a week at the local hospital (the last course was 2 years ago) & I have been looking after our youngest Granddaughter.
Also, the same daughter had arranged a joint party on Sunday 4th Dec' for her two daughter's 6th & 3rd birthdays, but had to call the Doctor in the night before, as the 6 year old had a temperature of 103! She was diagnosed with tonsilitis & an ear infection & has been very poorly ever since. She hasn't eaten a morsel since Friday either - only sips of water, as her throat & tongue are too sore.
The party was cancelled at the last minute & will be resheduled for some time in January. We still went over to our daughter & son-in-law's, along with a few other relatives, to give the girls their presents, but our poorly Granddaughter slept the whole time. The 3 year old thought us being there was her party, so we made the most of it for her! We also didn't want all the prepared food & two birthday cakes to go to waste!
I've also had to cancel the little heart procedure I was having done on the 15 Dec, as my daughter isn't feeling too good & I felt it best all round. (I've resheduled that until 4th Feb 06)!
I've only been on to AB today, because I'd rec'd a few notification e-mails. No doubt I'll be back soon though - please give my love to all concerned! -xx-
