I have 3 jars of body shop night cream (vitamin E type). I use alot more of the Vitamin E day cream. Is there any way the night cream can be thinned down to use as a day cream? And if so, what with? Is there a type of base moisture cream which would be used for most moisturisers before perfume, etc is added?

You're best keeping a night cream as a night cream and getting a separate day cream.

Most day creams have things added that night creams don't, such as a light sunscreen and protection for your skin (from pollution etc), whereas most nightcreams are heavier.

You could try returning one of them and asking if they would exchange it for a day cream, they're usually quite good in the body shop
