Gastroenteritis
Our Baby, 3 Months, has had Diahorrea over the past 3 days. On the first day my girlfriend noticed it and immediately took him to the doctors. The Doctor prescribed Diarolyte. He has been off his food slightly, thankfully not completely, but we are still concerned about dehydration as he is not taking what he usually takes. He's taking less than half of the daily amount of ounces we feed him. I know every baby is different but can anyone give us a guideline of how long this last for and if the problem persists, when to visit the doctor again. Thank you in advance

(I don't know about you, but I'd be INSANE after two weeks!) As long as your baby isn't getting dehydrated, just let his own system work through it. Make sure you give the Diarolyte as prescribed, that will keep his electrolyte levels up and reduce the chances of dehydration.
Babies digestive systems are still developing, so sometimes diarrhea is just a matter of course. Be patient, give baby and mum lots of love and it'll work out.

watch him carefully as they deteriorate very quickly. Our daughter couldnt stop being sick when she was 2, I had to take her to the doctors 3 times in 2 days, when they admitted her at hospital, she ended up on a drip, even though the first doc said she'd be fine! she was fine after 5 days in hospital. go woth your instincts, if u know he's not normal take him back. some friends of mine take them to a&e when they know somethings wrong but the docs dont listen.
