Central heating wont work?
Hi I have an "ideal mini s" boiler and it's not working properly. The hot water works fine but my the central heating wont come on?
A couple of weeks back there was a burst water pipe locally and the water in the duplex went completely. I have a feeling that the central heating went around the same time but perhaps it isn't at all related. Can anyone recommend anything I could try before goin to the hassle of getting a plumber. The apartment has it's own pump if that makes any difference. would the water cutting out have anything to do with the central heating not working? Its very strange coz the boiler is lighting fine when I turn the hot water on manually and when it turns on with the timer. I have tried turning the thermostat up and all that but????? The boiler doesn't even ignite when I try and turn the central heating on either manually or when its supposed to turn on with the timer. Thanks in advance hopefully you van hel coz im freezin and cant get a plumber???
