kittens and cradle cap

my kitten is about 14 weeks old. when we got her, she had a small patch of cradle cap on the back of her head, which went away with no bother. she now has a bigger patch on her shoulder. is this a problem? what causes it?

sounds like ringworm to me. Can be passed to humans so get it checked out at the vets.
