Travel Systems advice please

Please help.....we need to buy a travel system but there is too much choice.
We want to do lots of walking.....on pavements, muddy tracks and beaches.
Want a carry cot that's cosy and a pushchair that can face both ways.
Don't mind how much it costs....just want to buy something that's good.
Our thoughts were Mutsy firstly but i can' t find a stockist in Norfolk/Suffolk. i though Icandy might be an option but is it a jack of all trades/master of none? Hubby likes the sound of XTS twister but i don't know much about it. Help please.

The bebecars are good,i have a bebecar tracker and its brilliant but costs around 360.00!! Big sturdy wheels and its all terrain. Have a look on ebay they might have what your looking for and may pay even less for it. Buggys are a pain in the bum!!!

I had a Bugaboo and it was as fantastic off road as it was on! They are usually only seen in shopping malls or in OK mag. If cost is not an issue then go for it. The maxi cosi car seat fits onto it, the carrycot faces you and the seat unit can either face / face away. It was just the best pushchair I have ever had, and thats saying something seeing as I am now on my last buggy and its number 14!!

(I only had to see 'The Bug' or the 'Aboo' as we called it because it fell pregnant while my daughter was only 3 months old!!

I love my Bugaboo too, my daughter still faces me at 11 months, we love our chats!
Never used it as a travel system but have heard good things about the Jane range of prams
Mutsy is sold in the Babies r us part of any Toys r us

I've got the Graco Quattro Deluxe travel system. The carry cot attachment is so cosy but a little warm for the summer. It also comes with a car seat base which a lot of systems don't include.

Have you thought of slings at all? Much easier for those beaches and you get lots of cuddles and feeding in at the same time. I don't mean baby bjorn types, they are pretty useless compared to the others (like pouches, ring slings, wraps, mei tai, soft carriers....) available out there.
Google babywearing pr perhaps go to a slingmeet to find one to suit you.

If you still want a rear facing my personal (but pricey favourite) is the xplory as you are face to face with your baby. The Quinny buzz is good too, if you check on ebay you can get a bargain ex demo usually.
Beware fo systems that you attach the car seat too as car seat overuse (as in being used when out of the car) can be harmful.
