kids party

does anyone have any ideas for a 5 year old's birthday party venues in Hornchurch/Romford Essex area. We would like something different, quite fed up with these kids play area parties, but want somewhere that takes the stress out of it all and deals with the whole party including food etc. Hav seen on the web a double decker party bus, which looks great, but they only do their local areas (Manchester or up North) so something like this wld be fab!

We did that for one of my children's parties, and it turned out to be the best ever! When youngsters are excited, they tend not to eat a lot. I made a few plates of different rolls, cakes, biscuits and crisps - and let them help themselves from a long table. It really wasn't as stressful as you'd imagine, and parents came up to us afterwards and said their children thought it was the best time they'd had in ages!
Ice Maiden is right, I used to organise them and they are the best. Much more interactive and they love all the old games. You can hire magicians for several hours and get someone to do the food if necessary. You can just sit back and watch it with other mums etc. To be honest the feedback I got was excellent!
I hired a social club for our daughters party once and the parents absolutely loved the fact that they could sit and have a drink whilst thier child was being entertained in the hall by us we had pass the parcel, limbo, wrapping nannies in toilet roll the quickest! (they loved that) musical statues and big lucky dip boxes the whole thing had a funky punky theme it was great! it was three hours long and all the mums was saying I was mad for doing it but hey they enjoyed it too. Dunno what school your lot of parents are from but the pub or social club parties we have been to or done have been the most popular. good luck once again x
