Can my inheritance be taken into account

My partners son has reappeared after a numnber of years. Of which I am please about as they can now have a relationship, however my own father died recently and left me a small inheritance, Will my earnings and savings be taken into account when the CSA (goverment) decide on what maintenance my partner will need to be paying?
My partner and I live together with a joint morgage.

Also there is a strong possiblity he will come and live with us, if we split up wha are my rights? will i still be entitled to my 50% of the home or does this change because there would be a child there? (the child is currently 15).
