Is it too much to ask!?

Hey!

We started off by arranging a holiday for me, OH, my mum and stepdad for a week abroad somewhere in september. My OHs mum then said she would like to go on holiday, so we invited her & my OHs little sister, along with my OHs big sister, her husband and baby.
We had already started looking into villas for 4 people before my other halfs family were invited, so we put that on hold til we knew who else was coming. His mum said she would know by yesterday evening who would be coming, and when we called, she didnt know. My Ohs little sis is in college so needed to know when her summer holiday ends and she would know today.

He phoned his mum earlier to ask if she knew more, and she started shouting at him down the phone saying that she was so rushed,she needed to know from his older sister (who has already said yes!) and that she had had an argument with his little sister!

Now he seems really down and upset and pretty peed off over it all! I mean, Me and him are paying for the villa, they have only got to worry about flights and spending money!
Just feel so bad that he is trying so hard to sort out something lovely for his family, and also pay for it, yet all he gets is sh** back!

Hey sleepyj, my family have been no problem at all! If it wasnt for them we wouldnt be going at all as it was there idea that the 4 of us went away! They are waiting very patiently for an answer to how many people are going so they can help start looking for a villa.
He was speaking to his little sister on msn, and said to her that this is the last time he ever tries to arrange something nice for them!
His little sister has also said she is happy to pay for herself, so I dont really know what his mums problem is!

Its not the arguing, it making my OH feel like sh** when all he is trying to do is organise and pay for a family holiday for them!
