Getting 7 and half month old to drink from beaker/cup
We're having difficulties in getting our 7 and half month old to drink out of a beaker or cup. We're trying the Tommy Tippy and Avent beaker/cup and she wont drink from them. She is always offered one or the other but just pushes it away or ends up on the floor! She'll happily drink water from her bottles. Am I expecting too much?
Thanks

No child ever enters school still drinking from bottles- eventually, she'll cotton on and happily take a beaker.
Incidently my daughter, whilst drinking from cups during the day at 3 still takes a bottle of (cows) milk to bed every night.

I think my eldest was getting on for a year old before she was using any form of a cup for her drinks. I waited until she started showing an interest in drinking from a cup. I did the same for any new thing in her development, I waited until she took and interest. That way things were done when she was ready and it was always an easier transistion.
Mind you, there were still times she would throw her cup just for the sake of it lol
