my partner and I seperated 7yrs ago,and my son lived whith him until recently.He has now decided to come and live with me permenatly but my ex. refuses to hand over the allowance book, what should I do?

When my blokes son moved in with us we contacted the family allowance people as zzxxee has said. They wouldn't change it over untill he had been with us for 6 weeks but no problem after that.
