Flavoured Water for 9 month old

Hi everyone

I have been trying to get my son to drink water or baby flavoured water for some months now but to no avail.

He loves it when I give him the strawberry Medised when he is a little unwell so Ive tried to find some STRAWBERRY flavoured syrup to add to his water which I cannot find at the moment. If I drink some flavoured water, strawberry, he throws it down his neck!! Do you think it is unwise to let him drink this as Im not too sure on sugar content!!??

I'd check the label.. it's not just sugar, lots of drinks have artificial sweeteners and other additives. personally, I wouldn't do it but that doesn't mean it's harmful.

personally I would stay clear of any flavoured water. Will he not just take plain water?
Why not try getting some fresh strawberries, liquidise one in some water and dilute. You do not say how old your little one is but I would try this as then you know it is natural and fresh. If this works for him then freeze some strawberries for later in the year.

have you tried fennel drink by HIPP organic. If you go on there website it's free delivery. My son is 8 months old and loves it. Adults can drink it too.

Have you tried Rosehip syrup diluted? My son loved that when he was a baby.

my nephew wouldn't drink when he was a baby. my sister tried everything and eventually tried fennel tea. He loved it and would only drink that for ages! He's now nearly three and drinks anything.
