taking milk through airport

hi,we are going to portugal next week with a 4 month old baby,can you take milk through customs ready made up?or do yuo have to take the formula and make it up yuorself at the other end?also bottled water will be fine to make up the feeds while over there?ive been told some bottled water has high mineral contents?!first time abroad with baby so any advice greatly recieved!thanks.

Liquids are limited to 100ml per container and no more containers than would fit in a one-litre plastic bag.
Bottles have to be clear and in a sealed clear plastic bag.
(I fell foul trying to take special cough medicine only obtainable from pharmacist but wasn't a prescription drug.)

It depends on the airport. I was able to take cartons through edinburgh airport no problem, however when leaving Belfast airport they made me open them all (rendering most of them useless) and taste them!!!!!! Whilst there may be rules that must be adhered to, it would seem that some airports interpret them differently.
