Drinking less milk at 11 months
Hello everyone
Just wondering how other peoples babies are with their milk bottles at the moment. My son is 11 months old, 1 on 6th Nov this year, and for a while now has been having a 6oz bottle at 7am, same again at 3-4pm and again at 7-8pm. He will normally drained his morning bottle but Im lucky if I can get him to drink half of the other two feeds ..... its been like this now for a few weeks and Ive started to mix fresh milk within his powdered stuff. I know this is not the problem ........
Would anyone drop the day bottle but he will sometimes get moody and wine for it!!

morning milk bottle 7am
breakfast - cereal and drink - 8.30ish
mid morning snack (fruit/cheese/biscuit) and drink - 10.30ish
lunch with drink - 12ish - then afternoon nap
mid afternoon snack - a probiotic yoghurt drink (with a straw) and a snack (raisins etc) - 3 ish
Dinner and drink - 5ish
Bottle - 7pm
The drinks during the day would mostly be watre or baby juice, but would sometimes give a little bit of milk in a sippy cup. Bottles were only used for morning and evening milk.
You need to choose what fits into your routine and your sons preference - as long as he is getting his calcium elsewhere, e.g. breakfast cereal, yoghurts, cheese etc there is no need for him to have milk during the day. The rest is really more for comfort.
