Another abused baby killed

Another poor baby dies at the hands of her father. Screaming relatives yell outside the court, wanting 'a life for a life'. Where were all these relatives when the baby needed their help?

a bit unfair isnt that lynbrown? surely you can blame the family of the murderers as how could they have known that the baby was going to be killed unless there was history of abuse? however if there was a history and they chose to turn a blind eye then..............send them down with that scumbag! ps.22 years is'nt enough!

The mother of the child is apparently in the lowest 1% intelligence in the country and that is the reason why she didn't get an immediate custodial sentence. If this is the case why was she not being monitored closely by a health visitor to ensure she was looking after the baby properly.

so lynbrown....do you know what ALL your family are doing ALL of the time?...i doubt it...as horrendous as this case is you really should not condemn these prople......only the ''parents'' are to blame here....wise words abstract....

stokemaveric - where my grandchildren are concerned, yes, I do know what is happening in their lives. If i had a daughter and son in law of poor intellegence, I would have been keeping a close eye on them and would have picked up on the first signs of abuse. The baby had over 40 injuries on her body. Looking out for the young members of a family is what decent people do.

lynbrown,yes indeed GOOD,DECENT people know what is happening in the lives of their families but that can harfly be said of these people.im not defending the family in any way shape or form but are the indirect family of these people really to blame????

What I found really strange was that one of the relatives was shouting and yelling, then turned to another relative and started laughing..?weird..!!

All I can think of, is the pain that poor child must have had to endure.Lets hope something nasty will happen to the so called "father" when he is in prison.
