I have been recommended to soak my feet in ebsom salt and use over counter antibiotic cream for my ingrowing toenail. But can you actually get over the counter cream like this, and can anyone recommend one?

best to ask the pharmasist
Not sure if you can get Antibiotic cream in the UK. I bought some when I was in the Caribbean, but have never seen it here.
'Antisceptic'?
it depends on what strength most pharamcy's give antiseptic creams however in some cases they will give antibiotic creams provided its under a certain strength.
I find TCP is very good for applying to the swollen sore areas.

Thanks for the answers I have asked in boots and they said they dont do it over the counter. But then again I read about home treatment for ingrowing toe nail on the internet it did say to soak in epsom salts and apply antibiotic cream, so maybe they are not limited to the uk pharmcy??

I dont really know if an anticeptic will do? I dont know the difference? I suppose I need it to help with infection and swelling?
