incapasity, disability, housing, child, anything you can really, all the others do, might aswell get a share of my taxes too
You should be claiming jobseekers allowance and child tax credit. You may also be able to claim help with the interest payments on your mortgage, however this will depend on whether your mortgage protection policy already covers these payments.
You should contact jobseekers allowance and inland rev ( for tax credit) asap, as the sooner you make your application, the sooner you can receive help.
Whether or not you will receive jobseekers allowance may depend on whether you received redudancy pay and how much.
Are you single parent? you need to claim Income Support as a Lone parent, inform Child tax credits/ working tax credits and also your mortgage company/ insurance company. and your local council regarding your council tax and once Income Support in payment you get help with school dinners. They will also help you find work at your Local jobcentre google direct.gov
forgot to mention you may get help with the interest only on your motgage whilst on Income support after 26 weeks (not sure if there has been any changes recently)
