Possible pregnancy??

Hi all.

I was on holiday at the beginning of march. I had to double up on my pill pack so i didnt have a period on hols. in the first week i was on hols i missed a pill by accident. Then i got sick with gastroenteritis. I had diarrhoea and vomitting for nearly 3 days. I had the doctor out and he put me on a course of antibotics. I knew that antibiotics can affect the pill so i sent my BF out to get some condoms. At the time i was too sick to think about anything to do with sexual activities but wanted to be prepared. When i dr returned he saw them and told me i did not need them as these antibiotics did not interfere with the pill. So when i was better we did not use them. FOGETTING that i had had sickness and diarrhoea, which can also affect the pill.

I have since come home from hols, still taking my second pack of pill. I started with a UTI on sat and flushed it out with lots of water, that did the trick but ive had weird stomach cramps today and last night, and 'fluttery' feelings in my stomach. Im getting a lot of indigestion, sickly feelings, going loo more (although could be from UTI still) and my breasts are a bit sore at times.

As im still on my second pack of pill i thought it might just be symptoms of my period cuz u still get the stomach cramps etc at times. I have 2 weeks left on my pill so cant take a pregnancy test cuz u can only take them when its due but i cant wait that long, im nervous and excited and lots of different things at the same time.

Any suggestions or advice please?? Thanks xx

Hi there, if you are worried about it I would see the doctor and they can sell you a test for approx �1.50. I'm sure you can take a test when on the pill as I have done many times before.

rnchugg, i think she means she cant test as its too early (period not due yet) rather than because shes on the pill
