Can A Child Maintenance Payment Be Stopped Without Notice

My husbands ex wife has just stopped his latest child maintenance payment. (A court order arrangement and not through the CSA).

She claims that her partner and herself are having financial difficulties as she has recently had a baby and her maternity pay has reduced her income.  They have stopped this payment but put savings into the childrens account and are going off to Italy at the weekend.

Will she have to pay the missed payment or can she do this?

if it is court order you will need to contact your solicitor to check the details of the order and to workout how to move forward - presumably a change in financial circumstances would be written into the order - but i would imagine that this would reduce payment rather than stop it. You can always contact CSA for more support regarding payment of maintenance
Be aware that if you made your own arrangements and you then ask the CSA to get involved they will slap an admin charge on, and you will end up with less money. This happened to my sister.
usualy if you keep the warranty card or install some anti virus software your child wont need regular maintanance, if you notice a fault in your child contact customer support and they will usualy be happy to pay for standard repairs
