static shocks from pushchair

i get a static shock pushing my childs buggy in shopping centres, ive heard there are anti static strips you can buy, ive tried mothercare and the staff thought i was mad... do they exist and where can i buy them? thanx

not sure but if you find out ill be buying one!!i get static shocks off EVERY lift,escalator,clothes rail racks,you name it,but come to think of it,it seems to be every time i have the buggy with me???

crikey that takes me back to when my kids were little i used to get wicked shocks of their buggy handles. try wipeing over with fabric softner and leaveing to dry it might help it used to with me
